ITALIAN Jakub Mareczko of Team Wilier Triestina won the 2017 Le Tour de Langkawi’s (LTDL) third stage sprint from Serdang to Pantai Remis, Perak with a time of 2:48.56s on Friday.
The 2016 LTDL sixth stage winner out-sprinted Australia’s Scott Sunderland, the stage one winner last Wednesday.
Overnight winner Ryan Gibbons claimed the yellow jersey (General Classification) while Sunderland took the teal jersey (Sprint Competition).
The best finishing by a Malaysian was Mohd Zamri Saleh of Terengganu Cycling Team (TSG) who came in third, just after Sunderland.
