(Actionline) No-entry sign not in place

KUANTAN: A fallen no-entry signage at the Kuantan Perdana business centre here has irked many visitors into the area.

Housewife NORAIZA SULAIMAN, who frequents the area to get her supplies from a bakery shop, claimed that the fallen signage has not been repaired for weeks.

“For those who are familiar with the area, they are well aware that any car entering the parking lots can only turn either to the left or to the right.

“However, for those who happen to be in the area for the first time, they might think that it is okay to go straight.

“Although no accident has been reported so far, I hope the local council can repair it as soon as possible to avoid any untoward incident,” he said.

ACTIONLINE:

Kuantan Municipal Council public relations officer Izad Zainal Muhammad Safian, when contacted on Friday (Jan 14), said the council had received a complaint on the matter and would replace the fallen signage immediately.

He also advised residents to email similar or other complaints to aduan@mpk.gov.my or call the council at 09-5121666.
