MyRumah 2017 showcase kicks off at Balai Berita

KUALA LUMPUR: The MyRumah property showcase is back for the second year running, offering the Malaysian public a one-stop centre for real estate consultation.

Twelve leading exhibitors are taking part in the three-day event, including seven property developers.

At the launch, New Straits Times Press (NSTP) chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Jalil Hamid said that the 2017 showcase is the continuation of the first showcase held in three series last year.

"I hope this event will continue to provide visitors and potential buyers the opportunity to view, and possibly sign up for, strings of properties on sale here at Balai Berita.

"We want to make this event a preferred venue for property consultation, where existing house buyers and potential house buyers will come to get expert advice from the speakers," he said at Balai Berita here, today.

Abdul Jalil added that the speakers will share their advice and tips on how to secure housing loans, better loan repayment management, as well as how to profit from property investment.

The event, which runs from 10am to 6pm from today to Sunday, was launched today by NSTP Chairman and Independent Non-Executive director, Tan Sri Ismail Omar.

NSTP had roped in Grab as one of its partners, wherein a RM5 discount will be offered to every customer using Grab to ride to and from the MyRumah event, using the promo code "GRABMYRUMAH".
