PUTRAJAYA: Back for the ninth time, MyBalloonFiesta 2017 is offering a much more spectacular line-up that is ultimately closer to the city centre.
Calling Desa Park City as its home for the next two days, more than 20 hot air balloons from 12 countries including Germany, Japan, Belgium, the Netherlands and Malaysia will be on display at two different times, at 4pm and 8pm.
Take this chance to walk around the grounds and get the chance to find out more about the inner workings of a hot air balloons as the balloon pilots will be available for a chat. This is but one of the many activities offered at the park until this Sunday.
For early risers, you can join the hot air balloons at Monumen Alaf Baru in Putrajaya at sunrise to see the pilots launch their balloons as they race to win the Rudy’s Trophy.
In the race, the balloon pilots will need to locate the spot marked ‘X’ and drop their sandbags at that spot for three consecutive days.
Also, don’t forget to catch the magnificent Night Glow Show featuring your usual and unusually-shaped hot air balloons. This is one spectacular show that you do not want to miss.
