KOTA BARU: Pas vice-president Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah today said the party is open to working with any quarters but only on matters that will benefit the people, the nation and society.
Mohd Amar, who is also Kelantan Deputy Menteri Besar said this has been Pas' policy all this while and will remain so.
"Pas' stand on the matter remains unchanged...we will only cooperate with Umno or other parties on matter like RUU355 and Rohingya issue that benefit the people and nation.
"Otherwise, we will use our third bloc that was formed last year in helping us face the coming general election," he said.
Mohd Amar was commenting on today's report quoting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak on possibility of Umno-Pas cooperation.
Najib was reported as saying that he did not rule out the possibility of Umno working with Pas in the upcoming general election.
