EVERY woman dreams of the perfect wedding and, of course, a perfect bridal dress to match.
And when it comes to the perfect bridal dress, a finely-tailored and breathtaking piece by a popular designer or couturier will first come to mind.
However, such a custom-made piece usually comes with a hefty price tag, so the bride-to-be’s dream remains a dream.
Well, fret not. A reputable homegrown designer label may make your wish come true. Its ready-to-wear bridal collection comes with a price tag that is easy on the pocket.
Jovian White, a diffusion line by celebrated couturier Jovian Mandagie, features 10 stunning looks ranging from a simple yet chic modern baju kurung as well as peplum, mermaid and cape dresses to flowing, floor-sweeping gowns that will turn heads.
In soft white and pastel pink colours, the collection is inspired by the cherry blossom and reinvented in minimal and ornate styles.
With sculptural silhouettes and embellishments, the array of bridal pieces is imbued with a contemporary yet classic feel.
The designer’s signature figure-hugging cut and feminine styles are apparent in each look, with minimal but intricate embroidery and beading work to match.
Some of the garments are also versatile, making them suitable for other occasions too.
The uncompromising quality and comfort of the dresses are crafted using materials such as crepe, Italian luxe chiffon, and French lace and tulle, reflecting a hint of elegance, grace and femininity.
Jovian White is the first ready-to-wear bridal collection of the homegrown fashion brand. Its first ready-to-wear line was launched in 2012.
The ready-to-wear bridal collection, says Mandagie, was inspired by customers who wore his Hari Raya collections as their engagement or wedding dresses.
Each dress retails between RM699 and RM1,499 while a veil costs between RM399 and RM599.
