SHE’S only 2 but Aaisyah Dhia Rana, the only daughter of celebrity couple Rozita Che Wan (or Che Ta) and Zain Saidin, has landed her own reality television show.
Aaisyah is one of the most popular celebrity kids in Malaysia, and attracts attention with
her fashionable and adorable looks.
The star in the eyes of many, she will also be the star Little Princess Aaisyah, premiering on April 12 at 9pm on Astro Ria.
Che Ta said: “Fans will get a glimpse into her life that I don’t often show on Instagram. I think the name of the show is similar to her character and personality,” she said at the launch of the reality show at Floral Terrace, Hampshire Place, Kuala Lumpur, recently.
So, what made the mother agree to Astro’s offer?
“While Aaisyah has been in front of the camera since she was born, there are times when she gets a little anxious when surrounded by many people.
“But, the crew knew how to deal with her, so that sealed the deal,” she said, adding that Aaisyah was comfortable enough to be herself during recordings.
Besides, she added, her daugther was easy to work with as she was not fussy.
“She follows what everyone around her does, so it’s pretty funny to watch her antics,” said the actress and entrepreneur, who has two sons, Ammar Effendy, 21, and Aniq Ezra, 19.
Viewers will see Aaisyah participate in activities she has never done before, like going to the zoo and a theme park.
Celebrities like Noor Neelofa, Jihan Muse, Nabil Ahmad and Marsha Milan will appear in the show.
“It’s not just an entertainment programme, it’s educational too. Che Ta and Zain will have a slot to share parenting tips,” said vice-president for Business, Gen Next Astro, Mohd Irwan Abdul Rauf.
Little Princess Aaisyah will also be available on Astro on the Go and Astro on Demand.
