Kim Jong-nam's body to leave Malaysia today

SEPANG: It is believed that the body of Kim Jong-nam will finally leave Malaysia today.

A Toyota Hiace van, understood to be carrying the remains of Jong-nam, was seen entering the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Cargo Complex here at 2.47pm.

The vehicle was spotted passing through a security check at the entrance before making its way to the cargo division.

It is expected that Jong-nam’s remains will be flown to Beijing via the Malaysian Airlines (MAS) flight MH360, said to be departing at 6pm today.

Earlier, the said van left National Forensic Medicine Institute (IPFN) in Kuala Lumpur General Hospital at 1.40pm today.

On Feb 13, Jong-nam, the estranged half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, died after two women allegedly smeared VX nerve agent on his face at klia2. He died en route to Putrajaya Hospital.
