Mechanic claims trial at KL High Court to terror-related charges

KUALA LUMPUR: A mechanic today claimed trial at the High Court to two terror-related charges.

Nur Redzwan Wan Redzmann, 29, is accused of committing the offences - of knowingly supporting the Islamic State (IS) terror group and the acts of terror which involves the use of explosives to advance the militant group's ideology with the intent to intimidate the Malaysia public through the Telegram application on his mobile phone at No 7, Jalan Watan 24, Taman Sri Watan in Ampang between March 25 and June 30, 2016.

Deputy public prosecutor Nurfaida Mohd Rashidee appeared for the prosecution while Nur Redzwan was represented by Sangeet Kaur Deo.

Judge Datuk Paduka Azman Abdullah fixed Aug 10 for case mention.
