Nephew stabs uncle to death in Kota Damansara, motive unknown

PETALING JAYA: A 32-year-old man was believed to have been stabbed to death by his nephew at his flat in Section 8, Kota Damansara, on Saturday afternoon.

The victim, Ananth Rajoo, a Sungai Buloh Hospital security guard, was found unconscious in a pool of blood in his house at 4.20pm.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zani Che Din said police are hunting for the suspect, a Petaling Jaya City Council security guard, in his 30s, who had fled the scene after the incident.

“According to a witness, victim was stabbed few times with a knife. However, we did not find the murder weapon at the scene.

“The victim’s family members rushed him to Sungai Buloh Hospital after the attack but he was pronounced dead at 5.15pm due to the multiple stab wounds,” he said.

Zani said police are investigating the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
