PORT DICKSON: A man was charged at the magistrate's court here on Wednesday with murdering a car wash centre owner in September this year.
S Soosai, 29, was charged with killing B Sugumaran, 32, at a cemetery in Kampung Saga Rantau.
The offence was allegedly committed between 10.30pm and midnight on Sept 13.
Soosai was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries a mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
However, no plea was recorded from the accused before magistrate Siti Khairiah Abdul Razak.
Deputy public prosecutor A Ashwini prosecuted, while the accused was represented by lawyer Paul Krishnaraja.
The court fixed Dec 21 for re-mention pending a post-mortem report.
Sugumaran's body was reported missing from a premises in Ampangan, Seremban on Sept 13.
His body was later found buried in Siliau.
It is believed that the accused murdered his victim over the latter’s girlfriend.
