Dental technician murder: Police looking for man who escaped with victim's motorcycle

PORT DICKSON: Police are looking for a man, believed to be in his 20s, to facilitate investigation into the dental technician murder case at the Lukut Health Clinic Quarters, here last week.

Port Dickson district police chief, Superintendent Zainudin Ahmad, said the man was found to be in possession of a motorcycle and a helmet which was missing from the victim’s house.

“The man was last seen at a fast food restaurant in Nong Chik, Johor Bahru last week.

“Based on a closed-circuit television (CCTV) recording, the suspect was seen riding the motorcycle to the restaurant," he said at a press conference held at Port Dickson District Police Headquarters (IPD) here Tuesday.

Zainudin urged the public with information about the man to contact the nearest police station or the Port Dickson IPD Criminal Investigation Department at 06-6472222 or 019-3642929.

On January 22, Mahusin Abd Rahim, 28, was found dead in his home due to severe head injuries believed to be caused by hard object.

The victim, believed to have been dead for more than 72 hours, was found lying on a mattress by a friend who came to his house at 8.30am as he had been uncontactable for a few days.
