Two TM staff charged with abusing company property [NSTTV]

JOHOR BARU: Two Telekom Malaysia (TM) staff were charged at the Sessions Court today with abusing company property by selling three drum drop fibre cables last year.

Mohd Areza Suhaimi, 29, and Azmi Zainal, 30, an assistant technician, pleaded not guilty to intentionally abusing the company’s property by selling the cables to a man at TM Tampoi branch near Jalan Tampoi around 3pm on Dec 21 last year.

In the same court, they also pleaded not guilty to stealing the company’s property at the TM Tampoi branch where it was stored, at the same time and day.

Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission deputy public prosecutor Nurdiyanah Mohd Nawawi prosecuted while counsel Eddin Syazlee represented both accused,

Judge Jailani Rahman set bail at RM10,000 each for both accused pending mention on March 20.
