Fatal dispute between cabbies at Cheras petrol station

KUALA LUMPUR: An argument between two taxi drivers at a petrol station along Jalan Sg Besi in Cheras, here, ended with one of them killed.

In the incident that took place this morning, Cheras district police chief Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon said the victim was a local man aged 61.

The suspect, a 65-year-old local man, has been arrested.

Initial investigation found that there was a struggle between the two.

Cheras district police headquarters was alerted to the incident at about 11.30am.

Mohamad Mokhsein said the victim's remains were taken to the Tuanku Muhriz Chancellor Hospital.

Investigation is being carried out under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Photos of the aftermath of the tragic argument have since gone viral on social media. The victim's body was seen sprawled next to a taxi at the petrol station. Another photo showed a man in a white blood-stained shirt.
