Self-styled 'Perjalanan Mimpi Yang Terakhir' leader released on police bail

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman claiming to be the leader of deviant group, Perjalanan Mimpi Yang Terakhir (PMYT) arrested at her home in Shah Alam was released on police bail today.

Brickfields district police chief Assistant Commissioner Anuar Omar told Harian Metro that they were still waiting for the Malaysian Islamic Development Department's (JAKIM) report for further action.

"The suspect was released on police bail today. This is while we wait for Jakim's report," he said, adding that the Deputy Public Prosecutor had instructed the department to prepare the report.

Social media platforms were abuzz with reports of a woman named Sittah Annur linked to the deviant group.

She alleged that World War III would begin in Sabah and her soldiers would search for 'Imam Mahdi' to fight her foes.

Sittah, 39, also claims to be a clairvoyant.

During their raid of her home, the police found receipts totalling to RM84,721. The sum is believed to have been donated by her supporters. The receipt was seized for investigations.

The case is being investigated under 298A of the Penal Code for causing disharmony, disunity, or feelings of enmity, hatred or ill will, or prejudicing the maintenance of harmony or unity, on grounds of religion, as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for improper use of network facilities or network services.
