KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested 11 people and seized RM77,000 worth of drug-infused vape liquid following a raid in Jalan Klang Lama last night.
Brickfields police chief Assistant Commissioner Amihizam Abdul Shukor said a team of investigators from the district narcotics division raided the premises in Old Klang Road at about 9.45pm and arrested four suspects.
In the raid, he said police found 494g of cannabis and 3,496ml of cannabis-infused vape liquid.
"Urine tests carried out on the suspects were all positive and they were arrested under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code for further interrogation," he said in a statement today.
He said all four have been remanded until Jan 10 for investigation under Section 39B and Section 15(1)a of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
Following the arrests, Amihizam said a follow up raid was also carried out nearby where seven more suspects were arrested. They were remanded between two and four days to facilitate investigations.
"We are trying to get hold of the entire network and investigations are ongoing to track down any remaining suspects linked to those arrested," he said.
