Muhyiddin to give statement to police following 3R inquiry

KUALA LUMPUR: Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is expected to give a statement to the police today.

It was reported that he arrived in a black multipurpose vehicle at 9.28am.

It was reported that Bukit Aman investigators will be recording Muhyiddin's statement regarding an investigation into a recent speech touching on religion (3R) by the former prime minister.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said Bukit Aman CID's Special Investigation Unit had already contacted Muhyiddin.

He added that as of now, two police reports have been lodged over the issue.
