Police record Muhyiddin's statement

KUALA LUMPUR: Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had his statement recorded by the police this morning.

He gestured with a thumbs up when asked by reporters of how the statement taking process went before leaving in a black multipurpose vehicle.

It was reported that Bukit Aman investigators would be recording Muhyiddin's statement regarding an investigation into a recent speech by the former prime minister.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said Bukit Aman CID's Special Investigation Unit had already contacted Muhyiddin.

He added that as of now, two police reports have been lodged over the issue.
