The incident occurred at 5:10 pm when the 53-year-old victim arrived at her home in Taman Desa Pauh, Pauh where she discovered her 49-year-old husband hastily ushering the woman into the bathroom of the master bedroom.

Arau police chief Superintendent Ahmad Mohsin Md Rodi said the woman is believed to be the girlfriend of the victim's husband.

"Enraged by her husband's actions, the victim proceeded to record the suspect's behavior with his female companion. When the suspect realised this, a scuffle ensued.

"Initial investigations revealed that the single-storey terrace house, occupied by the victim and the suspect, belonged to the suspect's late mother. The cause of the incident was the suspect's action of bringing an unknown woman into their bedroom."
