KLUANG: The motorcyclist who gained notoriety for engaging in an indecent act in Simpang Renggam recently has been detained by the police.
Kluang district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Bahrin Mohd Noh, said that the male suspect was arrested around 1.30pm in Ayer Hitam, Batu Pahat.
"The suspect, approximately 54 years old, has a criminal record related to narcotics, and urine screening tests yielded negative results.
"The suspect has been remanded for four days starting today, and the case is being investigated under Section 377D of the Penal Code," he said when contacted.
Earlier, the media reported that police were searching for a motorcyclist who engaged in an indecent act by exposing himself in Simpang Renggam here.
District Police Chief of Kluang, Assistant Commissioner Bahrin Mohd Noh, said that they identified a 42-second video clip around 1.15 pm yesterday through Facebook.
