TV stolen from Felda kindergarten over Christmas break

KOTA TINGGI: A television set worth RM700 was stolen from a pre-school in Felda Lok Heng Timur here during a break-in over the Christmas weekend.

The Tabika Kemas Felda Lok Heng Timur administrator lodged a police report stating that the television was intact inside its box on Christmas eve, and realised the school's window panel forced open, and the set missing yesterday.

The administrator took to the Orang-Kota Tinggi Facebook, where she uploaded the picture of the Hisense 43" television set inside its box packaging and the damages to the kindergarten.

She asked for the Felda settlers to contact them or the police, if anyone approached them attempting to sell the Hisense-brand television set.

District police chief Superintendent Hussin Zamora, who confirmed the report said the break-in is believed to have occurred between Dec 24 and 25.

"The victim last noticed the TV about 1pm on the 24th and realised it was missing on the 26th about 8am," he said, adding the case was investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code for break-in.
