KUALA LUMPUR: The government is allocating about RM783 million to repair dilapidated schools, especially in Sabah and Sarawak.
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, who announced the 2020 Budget in Parliament today, said the government would also focus on improving schools in the states.
He said more new schools would be built next year in Langkawi, Kulai, Hulu Langat, Putrajaya, Pasir Gudang, Tumpat, Marang, and Johor Baru.
