KOTA KINABALU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has arrived at Taman Desa Ria in Likas here to attend the wedding reception of Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak’s daughter.
Najib arrived with his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor at Salleh’s residence at 8.30pm, accompanied by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.
The Prime Minister flew in directly for the wedding after the 30th Asean summit in Manila. He landed here earlier this afternoon.
Last night, a Bajau traditional ‘bersanding’ ceremony was held for the fortunate couple, Mohd Syafiee Izuddin Mohd Hanan, 28, and Syazeera Salleh, 27.
The star-studded wedding reception tonight is hosted by Datuk Hans Isaac and Vanidah Imran, while celebrities set to entertain the wedding party include Datuk Jamal Abdillah, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Dayang Nurfaizah, Saleem, and Jimmy Palikat.
