SEREMBAN: Students must be prepared to face the real world by learning all the best values while in school, said Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor today.
She said it is important that students equipped themselves with all the values and characteristics needed before venturing into the job market and live the lives they wanted.
"It is a tough world out there but you must make the best of all the challenges that comes. Never ever regret and (always) walk tall," said Rosmah, the wife of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
She was speaking at the Kolej Tunku Kurshiah (TKC) in Bandar Enstek near here after handing over a bus, which was a gift from Najib and her, to the school.
The keys were handed to TKC principal Anismah M Noh by TKC Old Students Association president Tan Sri Rafiah Salim and witnessed by Rosmah, who is also a TKC alumni.
Meanwhile, Rosmah also said that former students should also give back to society once they have made it in life and inspire the juniors to also do their part in the future.
"Students need to instill in them the spirit of togetherness and the seniors can help them out by guiding them to stay on the right path in life,"
"I'm glad that I have the opportunity to study in this school. My message to all of you is to gain the best knowledge, garner the experience and learn whatever you can while you are here." she said.
