Khaled Nordin pays tribute to teachers for shaping the nation

JOHOR BARU: Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin tonight paid tribute to the teachers who helped to shape the movers and shakers of the country.

In a message in conjunction with Teacher’s Day, Khaled said that the technocrats, professionals, and skilled and non-skilled workers owed their success to teachers.

“Not a single one of us would become smart, skilled, creative, mature, discerning and have a vision without the touch and guidance of a teacher,” he said in his message.

Khaled said a proud civilization and people are built by many hands, including creative architects, skilled engineers, specialist doctors, honest businessmen, visionary leaders, wise religious figures, as well as all the layers of an ambitious society.

He said everyone contributed in some way to the country’s liberty, but each of us would not have reached our potential without guidance from our teachers.

“Let us all make the time on this special day to remember our teachers and say a prayer for all of them.

“May their service and dedication be rewarded with the best of blessings.

“Thank you Teachers and Happy Teacher’s Day!” he said.
