M'sia condemns massacre of Coptic Christians in Egypt

PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian government has strongly condemned the attack on Coptic Christians in Egypt yesterday which killed 28 people and injured 23 others.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Affairs ministry, the government also expressed its deepest condolences to the victims of the attacks, and their families.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian embassy in Cairo has confirmed that no Malaysian citizen was affected by the incident. The Ministry said it will continue to monitor developments through the embassy.
