Sultan Ibrahim breaks fast with Johor police

JOHOR BARU: The Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar today joined the congregation at the Tunku Laksamana Abdul Jalil Mosque at the state police headquarters for a buka puasa event organised by the Johor police contingent.

The ruler was accompanied by the Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah and the Johor royal family.

Also present were Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim, Home Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Alwi Ibrahim, and state police chief Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd

Sultan Ibrahim arrived at the mosque at about 6.45 pm.

During the event, Raja Zarith Sofiah also presented aid to 25 widows, 25 orphans and 45 cancer patients.

The ruler then joined the congregation to perform Maghrib prayers before dinner was served.
