KULIM: A police corporal died of a heart attack outside a bank at Jalan Putra here last night.
Mohd Ashri Abu Hassan, 46, was walking towards the bank's automated teller machine when he suddenly collapsed on the pavement.

Jaafar said the incident occurred at 8.45pm when Ashri was with his wife and son.
"Ashri, who was attached to Kulim Hi-Tech Park police station and his family were on their way to Kulim town before stopping at the bank.
Passers-by who witnessed the incident immediately called for an ambulance," he said in a statement.
Nasir said a post-mortem examination on Ashri at the Kulim Hospital confirmed that he died of a heart attack.
It is learnt that prior to the incident, the victim had complained of a headache to his wife while in the car.
Ashri's body will be buried at Kampung Sedaka, Yan this afternoon.
