Tabung Haji launches THiJARI 2.0 mobile app

KUALA LUMPUR: Tabung Haji’s (TH) mobile application e-THiJARI which allows depositors to carry out banking transactions on smartphones has been upgraded to THiJARI 2.0.

TH chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim said THiJARI 2.0 enables depositors to check on their registration status, pilgrimage flight schedules and the latest pilgrimage packages.

“Besides (the new features), depositors can use the app to update their profiles, carry out banking transactions, check on their account balance, obtain statements, gain access to the e-magazine and directories, and get the latest information on TH and promotions.

“TH wants depositors to (enjoy a) hassle-free (experience) when they perform their transactions at any time,” Abdul Azeez said in his speech at the launch of THiJARI 2.0, which took place at TH’s headquarters today.

He added that with the growing number of smartphone users in Malaysia, TH expects THiJARI 2.0, as well as TH’s second app, MyQTH, to attract up to 17.8 million users by year’s end.

This year, about 30,200 Malaysian pilgrims are expected to perform the Haj, with the first batch scheduled to leave for Saudi Arabia on July 24 and the last batch departing on Aug 25.
