Police nab terror suspects in Islamic State crackdown

KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said police's crackdown on Islamic State (IS) activities in the country have proven effective.

Police, he said, have detained several wanted terror suspects via raids conducted by its anti-terrorism unit.

"These preventive measures have led to the arrests of several wanted individuals in the course of our operations.

"The suspects are both local and foreigners. We will announce it when we are ready," said Khalid at a press conference after the launch of the My Psychology Spiritual Module today.
