Extended operating hours for KTM Komuter trains for Sea Games closing ceremony

KUALA LUMPUR: Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) will extend the operating hours for its Komuter services in conjunction with the 2017 Kuala Lumpur Sea Games closing ceremony at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium tonight.

It said additional trains will be provided at four routes, with only one additional train service for each provided route after the last train service.

Meanwhile, six stations will be operating until the additional train services end. The stations are KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, Bandar Tasik Selatan, Kajang, Sungai Buloh and Subang Jaya.

Those who are using the KTM Komuter can disembark and interchange at the KTM Bandar Tasik Selatan station.

Members of the public are advised to take the LRT to the Bukit Jalil National Stadium and are encouraged to use their Touch n’ Go cards to ensure a smooth journey and overcome congestion at Touch ‘n Go scanner lanes during peak hours.

From Aug 16 till Sept 16, the Touch n’ Go card will be given free and passengers will have to reload RM5 to activate the card.

For more information, the public can call the KTM Berhad service centre at 03-22671200 or visit its official website at www.ktmb.com.my or Twitter @ktm_berhad.
