Weak quake hits Sabah this evening

TAWAU: A weak earthquake hit Sapulut here this evening.

The Meteorology Department recorded the 3.0 magnitude quake at 6.13pm.

According to a statement by the department, the epicentre of the quake was 16km northeast of Sapulut.

Its coordinate is at 4.8 North and 116.6 East.

The quake, however, it did not pose any tsunami threat.
