JOHOR BARU: Visitors at the Mahmoodiah Health Clinic here had a scare when a large section of the ceiling at the clinic's dietary counselling counter collapsed this morning.
However, nobody was injured in the incident.
State Health, Environment, Education and Information Executive Committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said the incident occurred at about 8.30am.
"We are investigating the cause of the collapse. Repair works is currently being carried out by the maintenance concession company," said Ayub.
He said the repair is expected to cost between RM2,000 and RM3,000 and is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
