KUALA LUMPUR: Newly appointed Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) Chairman Datuk Azhar Abdul Hamid starts his day by attending a preliminary meeting with key management staff today.
He was greeted by a group of staff and press members at the entrance of Menara Felda here upon his arrival at 8.15am.
Felda director-general and FGV board member Datuk Ab Ghani Mohd Ali and officer-in-charge Datuk Khairil Anuar Aziz were seen accompanying him to level 45 of the building for the preliminary meeting.
Azhar is also expected to meet with board members later in the afternoon.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak had on Friday announced Azhar's appointment who would take over from FGV acting chairman and non-executive director Tan Sri Sulaiman Mahbob.
