Bumbu Cabe opens in Peninsula

KUALA LUMPUR: Craving for authentic Sundanese cuisine. Well crave no more and head over to Bumbu Cabe restaurant.

The restaurant which serves authentic West Jawa delicacies opened its doors through its first two restaurant in Kuching in July, 2015.

Restaurant founder, Abang Iskandar Zamren said it was always his dream to open a branch of the outlet here in peninsula Malaysian to feature popular Indonesian cuisines after the the first bumbu cabe restaurant was opened in the Sarawak capital.

"With the success of our two restaurants in Kuching, we have decided to bring these delicacies to KLites taste buds," Sundanese cuisine is a popular food amongst the Indonesians and Malaysians hence Bumbu Cabe was born.

The restaurant was opened by Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Abang Openg and was also attended by other distinguished guests.

"Celebrating the spirit of 'bejalai' (which means going outside of your comfort zone to look for new opportunities in Iban) I am proud that a Sarawakian has managed to expand his business outside of Sarawak," said Abang Johari in his speech.

Bumbu Cabe restaurant first outlet in Peninsular is located at Glo Damansara.
