KUALA LUMPUR: Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah today warned Netizens to lodge police reports if they have been conned by an imposter who have been posing as him on Facebook to lure victims.
Dr Noor Hisham today clarified that the account, bearing the name “Abdullah Hisham Noor” on Facebook, does not belong to him.
“I have lodged (a) report to Facebook to take down this page.
“The imposter who utilised this fake account and has been sending personal messages to numerous people asking for money and sending seductive texts to our nurses,” he posted on his official Facebook account.
Dr Noor Hisham advised people who had fallen victim to the imposter to lodge a police report as well as to lodge a complaint to Facebook.
He also advised the public to be vigilant when surfing the net.
“Please be careful that in this day and age we have a full range of information but more importantly, we must be informed and aware what is accurate and what is fake.”

Checks on the social media site revealed the fake account is no longer available.
