KUALA LUMPUR: Police will undergo training to prepare for the upcoming monsoon season, from tomorrow till Wednesday,
Federal police Internal Security and Public Order Department director Datuk Seri Zulkifli Abdullah said the exercise will be conducted simultaneously nationwide and involved all ranks.
"The training will involve policemen from all level, from federal to district headquarters, as well as the auxiliary teams who will be deployed to affected locations whenever needed," he said, in a statement last night.
Meanwhile, he added that police will also conduct training in preparation for the 14th General Election. The exercise will be held from Thursday to Saturday.
He advised the public not to panic if they saw high number of police presence in certain locations nationwide.
