ALOR GAJAH: A 27-year-old man died after losing control of his car and crashing into a parked bus along Jalan Kampung Padang Kamunting, Masjid Tanah, here.
In the 6.45am incident today, the driver of a Proton Wira who suddenly lost control of his car, swerved to the right side of the road before crashing into the bus which was parked by the road shoulder.
The driver, identified as Mohd Ridzuan Jantan, died on the spot after being trapped in the wreckage.
His body was later extricated by Fire and Rescue personnel.
The case was being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless driving.
