Najib to tour various Sabah districts during 2-day working visit

KOTA KINABALU: The two-day working visit by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to various districts in Sabah is a manifestation of his concerns towards the people in the state.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman said despite the nation's top leader's busy schedule, he is making time to go to the ground to listen to the people.

“Sabah has never been pushed aside by the Federal government, in fact has always been given proper attention under the Prime Minister. Many programmes and development projects have been implemented to benefit the people.

"His latest slated visit will certainly create an impact to the people," Musa said in a statement, commenting on the premier's various programmes on Thursday.

Tomorrow, Najib will head to Labuan in the morning before flying to Kota Kinabalu for a series of events.

Then, he will be at Penampang and on Saturday, will make his way to Nabawan and Kota Marudu.

Najib is slated to officiate Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bandau at his last stop in Kota Marudu, which Musa saw as a testimony of his concern towards the education of Sabah folks.

"It is a proof of the Prime Minister's seriousness in developing quality human resource in this state.

"The new health clinic in Nabawan meanwhile shows he is aware of the needs of good medical facilities for rural folks," stressed Musa.

He urged the people to continue to support the Barisan Nasional government that has brought development and progress to Sabah.
