KUCHING: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi paid a visit to the home of Local Government and Housing Minister, Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian here today for a Chinese New Year lunch.
Zahid was greeted by Sim and his family at their residence at Jalan Wan Abdul Rahman at about 11.45am.
They then tossed the traditional Yee Sang before partaking in their meal.
Zahid’s arrival had been preceded by his wife’s, Datin Seri Hamidah Khamis, who was accompanied by the wife of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, Datin Amar Datuk Juma'ani Tuanku Bujang.
The group then enjoyed a light moment with Sim’s mother, Puan Sri Lim Su Kheng and wife Datin Enn Ong Siok Ean.
Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri James Jemut Masing and other Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) leaders and members were also present.
