Subang school to close on Friday following Klang Valley's water disruption

SUBANG JAYA: Sekolah Islam Darul Ehsan will be closed Friday due to the ongoing water disruption in Klang Valley.

The school’s senior administrative assistant Kamariah Nasir said the closure was necessary due to the lack of water supply.

“We had water from a back up water tank but it wasn’t enough.

“Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas) sent a jumbo water tanker lorry to supply water to us for today’s session.

“But unfortunately, it wasn’t enough,” she told NSTP when contacted.

The school issued a memo to its students that it would close tomorrow.

In the memo, it said the water disruption hindered both students and staff from using the toilets, take ablutions (wudhu) and prepare food.

“The school will resume operations on Monday and replacement classes will be informed soon,” stated in the memo.
