Two 13-year-old Kota Damansara girls missing since Saturday

PETALING JAYA: “We are worried sick about your safety. Please come home Fifi,” says Rizal Muny Riz, 37, whose 13-year-old daughter, Nurfitri Rizal, has been missing since Saturday.

The father of five said his second child, who is affectionately called Fifi, had left their home at PPR Section 8, Kota Damansara, about 11am after her classmate, Liana, came to ask her out.

“Fifi’s mother tried to stop her but she got mad and threw a fit before dashing out.

“She had locked her room so we had to break the door down. That was when I realised that Fifi had left her Mykad and wallet behind,” he said, adding that she had never acted this way before.

Rizal said Fifi was unreachable as she had lost her handphone.

“When I got back from work, my wife told me about the incident, but I took it lightly because Fifi always came home no matter what. Even when she didn’t turn up that night I assumed she was still angry and was staying at her friend’s place.”

The next day, as the odd job worker was about to go to Liana’s house to ask Fifi to come home, he said Liana’s parents showed up at his house to look for their daughter.

“That was when we realised that both of them were missing. We went to the police station together to lodge a missing persons report.”

Checks at their school established that they had not been attending classes since Monday.

Rizal said Fifi’s younger siblings hadbeen asking for her and his wife had not stopped crying.

He said he had also gone on the Internet to post about his missing daughter.

Those with information on Fifi or Liana can call him at 017-2876965 or the nearest police station.
