KLUANG: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi performed Friday prayers today with about 2,000 people of Kluang at the Jamek Mosque in Kampung Bentong Dalam.
Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin also joined the group of worshippers who also comprised local leaders.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also the Home Minister, is scheduled to attend the launch of construction of Sekolah Agama Kebangsaan Johor (SAKJ) Kluang Barat 2, SAKJ Taman Delima and Sekolah Menengah Agama Kebangsaan Johor Kluang at the night market site at Batu 3, Jalan Mersing, near here.
He is also scheduled to meet the local people there after the event. – BERNAMA
