KUALA LUMPUR: The two men, allegedly involved in the murder of Palestinian lecturer Dr Fadi Mohammed Al Batsh, was said to have stayed at several places in the capital for three months since January, police investigations have revealed.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said the locations included a homestay in Jalan Ipoh here.

He said the duo did not only stay at the homestay and in Jalan Segambut but also in other areas.

“In addition, the police have also contacted the Interpol (International Criminal Police Organisation) and the authorities in several Asian nations to locate them, in the event that they have fled to those neighbouring countries,” he told a press conference at the Bukit Aman Federal police headquarters here today.

In the 6am incident last Saturday, Fadi, 35, was shot dead by one of two men as he was walking to a surau near a condominium in Jalan Meranti, Setapak, to perform Subuh prayers.—BERNAMA
