KENINGAU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak began the second day of his working visit to Sabah by launching an Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) here.
Also present was Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan, who is the incumbent Tambunan assemblyman.
Najib is expected to spend an hour at the UTC before departing for Beaufort, where he will meet with the people at 11am.
He is expected to end his visit with another meet-the-people programme in Kota Marudu at 2pm.
Last night, Najib delivered a speech at a gathering attended by Barisan Nasional leaders and candidates at the Hongkod Koisaan Hall in Penampang.
