PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Education Blueprint 2013-2025 will continue with some modifications based on the national and international requirements, said Education secretary-general Datuk Seri Alias Ahmad.
He said the modifications would enable the blueprint to be more flexible.
“As of now, the blueprint will continue,” he told reporters when asked if the plan was still relevant or otherwise after the Pakatan Harapan took over the reins of the government.
He was met by reporters after flagging off the three-km Mesra Run in conjunction with the national level Teachers’ Day celebration here today.
On this year’s Teachers’ Day, he said the three-day celebration started with a tahlil ceremony yesterday and followed by a run, forum and dinner today and will culminate with the Teachers’ Day celebration tomorrow.
Themed “Transformation Generates Changes”, the 47th Teachers’ Day national celebration is being hosted by Putrajaya and Selangor to prepare teachers to face various challenges, especially those brought by global trends. - Bernama
