Musa urged to come forward for cops to complete probe

KOTA KINABALU: Police called on former Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman to present himself as soon as possible to complete investigations launched against him.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Ramli Din said justice cannot be served because of his absence.

Sabah Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin had lodged a report against Musa last month, prompting police to launch investigations on criminal intimidation.

“As a leader, Musa has to come forward to give his statement. Justice delayed is justice denied,” Ramli said after witnessing the handing over of duties ceremony between deputy police commissioner Datuk Razaruddin Hussain @Abd Rasid to Datuk Omar Mammah here.

Police have recorded statements from nine witnesses including Tun Juhar in its probe into the report which has yet to be completed because of Musa’s absence.

Musa is reportedly abroad but has yet to reveal his whereabouts, communicating only through his lawyers.
