KUALA LUMPUR: Housing and Local Government Ministry said it did not receive any report about plans to halt the construction of Federal Territories Affordable Houses (Rumawip) projects.
Its Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin said if there were complaint on the matter, she was prepared to meet with the buyers to obtain further information.
"So far I have not received any complaint on the matter...but if there are, we will take action to ensure that the people are given their rights,” she said when met at a Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house function in Taman Kosas.
Zuraida was responding to rumours that the affordable housing projects for the lower-income and middle-income groups in the Federal Territory would be scrapped. — BERNAMA
