PUTRAJAYA: Tabung Harapan Malaysia has collected more than RM153 million as of today.
The Finance Ministry, in its Facebook page, announced that as of 3pm, the fund amounts to RM153,445,814.86.
Tabung Harapan was established by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on May 30, to enable Malaysians to donate towards reducing the RM1.087 trillion national debt.
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng had previously said the donations to Tabung Harapan Malaysia would only be used to settle government debts.
