PNS helps 210 SMK Sri Pantai students answer exam questions correctly

KUALA LUMPUR: Perbadanan Nasional Bhd (PNS) is organising the fourth installation of the Jejak Cemerlang Programme to teach 210 Form 3 and Form 5 students of SMK Sri Pantai the techniques to answer examination questions.

PNS managing director Datuk Syed Kamarulzaman Syed Zainol Khodki Shahabudin said: “PNS believes that this programme is an investment that will help students to further their studies in the future either at universities or maybe some will seek job opportunities.”

He said the students’ grade point average had been going up consistently since the programme was initiated in 2015.

“For the record, 59 of the 154 students who attended this programme last year are furthering their studies in diploma programmes at colleges and universities,” he said.

At the launching ceremony today, students listened to talks by motivational speakers such as Hafiz Bai, Adam Labah and Kangar member of parliament Noor Amin Ahmad.

A total of 100 students had their eyes checked.

“The eye check programme was conducted for the second time by Focus Point. The first one took place in Batu Kurau, Perak, in March,” he said, adding that it was a platform for the franchise business to provide community service.
